Yachts and Seafood

While I was in Russia, me and my friends went to the famous Seafood restaurant, which is called "More Yachts & Seafood". It is known for the traditional French cuisine and fresh seafood. Also, the restaurant has an amazing view to the Neva river and beautiful white yachts.

Пока я была в России на каникулах, мы с друзьями успели сходить в лучший морской ресторан - "More Yachts and Seafood". Он известен своей Французской кухней и свежими морепродуктами. Вид из ресторана заслуживает отдельного внимания, так как прямо перед "More" припаркованы белоснежные яхты.

This is an outfit I was wearing to meet up with my friends in St. Petersburg. It is rather casual, but comfortable. The weather was good, so we went for a walk to the embankment, where these photos were made..

Vintage Christmas fair in the KGallery

KGallery is the art gallery in St. Petersburg, which displays the Fine Arts beginning of 1930 - the end of 1970. Also the gallery is famous for its collection of propaganda porcelain.
This time The Vintage Christmas Fair took place in the KGallery. Such unique items as a vintage blue YSL jacket - the one you could have seen in the "Devil wears Prada" movie, were displayed at the Kgallery event. I was lucky enough to buy vintage Lacroix earings, which I will show and blog you later :)

Галерея искусств KGallery расположена в исторической части города, недалеко от Летнего сада. В её коллекции представлены десятки полотен крупнейших мастеров советского периода, шедевры живописцев академической школы и Серебряного века, а также уникальная коллекция агитационного фарфора 1920-1930-х годов.
На этот раз Винтажная Рождественская ярмарка состоялась в KGallery. Там можно было купить такие редкие вещи как знаменитый синий жакет от Yves Saint Laurent, тот самый, о котором говорилось в фильме "Дьявол носит Прада". Я же купила винтажные клипсы (всё боюсь проколоть уши) Lacroix, которые я обязательно вам покажу позже :)

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all of you! :) My family and me love Christmas, so as you can see our flat in Russia is beautifuly decorated with all these Christmas things. Even though in Russia we celebrate Christmas on the January 7, today we had a proper family dinner with the baked duck.

Поздравляю всех с католическим Рождеством! :) Я очень люблю этот праздник, так что вся квартира в России уже давно украшена новогодними декорациями. Несмотря на то, что мы отмечаем Рождество 7 января, сегодня мы реиши собраться всей семьей и устроить семейный ужин с запеченой уткой.

While I was in Russia, I had a chance to go to presentation of a pilot collection called "Ginger" by Low Fat - the brand best known for its comfortable eco-friendly sport clothes. The "Ginger" collection is mainly focused on yoga clothes and so called body&mind activities and includes clothes for women, men and unisex. "Le Bal" fashion show by Larissa Pogoretskaya

Though the actual fashion show was on the October 31, I think it is interesting to blog and show you some photos of it. The presentation was in The Grand Hotel Europe in Saint-Petersburg (Russia). Larissa Pogoretskaya is a famous Russian designer with rather classical taste, who studied in the Art-Industrial Academy of Muhina in St.Petersburg. Her clothes is always done very skillfuly and is definately a piece of art. "Le Bal" was inspired by a movie of an Italian screenwriter and film director Ettore Scola, which describes French history of 1930 - 1980.


31  октября в Гранд Отеле Европа в Санкт-Петербурге состоялась презентация новой коллекции "Le Bal" студии Larissa Pogoretskaya. На создание новой истории дизайнера вдохновил  фильм 'Le Bal' итальянского режиссера Этторе Скола, рассматривающий события французской истории с 1930-х до 1980-х годов и призванный отобразить время за счет смены музыкальных стилей.
